JabberWocky to Coconut...
In today’s cloud-first, app-driven world, the browser has quietly become the most critical piece of business infrastructure — and also its weakest link. Traditional browsers weren’t built for the way we work now: across devices, across locations, across borders.
That’s where Coconut comes in.
Coconut Cloud Browser reimagines the browser as a secure, cloud-powered workspace that delivers speed, privacy, and control — without the complexity of VPNs, MDMs, or expensive IT setups.
It’s designed for SMBs and Managed Service Providers who need enterprise-grade security without enterprise bloat.
For the past year, we’ve worked across time zones and teams to build a platform that’s as powerful as it is intuitive.
From zero-trust security to admin dashboards that actually make sense, Coconut is the browser we wish we had — so we built it.
This is the story of the two brothers behind it.

Meet The Team
Gautam has been building the future since before it had a name. In the early 1990s, he co-founded India’s first public internet service provider — WMINet — alongside his brother Vikram, following their success with JabberWocky BBS, a pioneering bulletin board system that connected early tech communities across India. That spirit of curiosity and creation still drives him.
Over the past three decades, Gautam has built over 30 products used by millions — spanning music tech, legal services, mobile apps, and finance. He’s held leadership roles at companies like Yahoo!, Belkin, and LegalZoom, and founded Appmosis Inc., a consulting and investing company that educates people on financial independence and the power of technology.
Coconut is the next chapter in that journey — a browser purpose-built for the way people work today. Gautam believes that security, speed, and simplicity shouldn’t be reserved for the Fortune 500. With Coconut, he’s making cutting-edge cloud infrastructure accessible to small and mid-sized businesses worldwide.
When he’s not building startups, Gautam is flying planes, Scrutineering at Formula-1 events, writing books, mentoring young founders, or playing guitar.
His motto: solve real problems, empower smart people, and stay curious.
Vikram is the force behind the tech. He’s spent a lifetime at the intersection of systems, scale, and innovation — from writing low-level code in the 90s to architecting high-availability cloud platforms for global enterprises.
As Gautam’s co-founder in early ventures like JabberWocky BBS, WMINet ISP, and moreLinux Inc., Vikram helped lay the digital foundation for India’s early internet revolution. His work was instrumental in bringing dial-up access, Linux hosting, and web connectivity to thousands at a time when those ideas were radical.
Over the past two decades, Vikram has led major cloud architecture initiatives at Wipro, Infosys, and Alibaba Cloud, working with enterprise clients to design scalable, resilient infrastructure. He’s seen firsthand the challenges businesses face in managing remote work, browser security, and cloud sprawl.
With Coconut, Vikram brings all that experience into one beautifully streamlined platform. His mission: to reimagine the humble browser as a secure, scalable gateway to modern work — one that gives MSPs and SMBs the power of enterprise tech without the cost or complexity.
Calm, focused, and endlessly resourceful, Vikram is the rare technologist who can see both the code and the big picture.
At Coconut, he’s building the browser we’ve always needed, just in time for the GenAI era.
